Report: Novatek bids for 2 Lebanese blocks with Total, Eni

MOSCOW, Oct 13 (PRIME) -- Russian gas producer Novatek has submitted bids for licenses to develop two blocks in Lebanon in a consortium with France’s Total and Italy’s Eni, Energy and Water Resource Minister of Lebanon Cesar Abi Khalil said, as cited by newswire NNA Lebanon on Friday.

“The report by the commission says that a consortium of companies comprising France’s Total SA, Italy’s Eni International B.V. and Russia’s Novatek has sent a bid to receive licenses to develop Block 4. This consortium has also bid to develop Block 9,” the minister said.
